You've probably already heard that Hollywood Road Show is doing gangbuster business -- the business of live movie props auctions. They have previously held live auction events across the United States in conjunction with eBay live to give us fans around the world a chance to build our own gamerooms with authentic movie costumes, movie props, and film-themed pinball machines. Our sources in the biz tell us these auctions are so successful and so much fun that the next prop auction event, coming up in June 21, 2008, will be broadcast live on Satellite TV broadcast to over 17 million people! Get ready to place your bids; they seem to have a lot of brand new exciting stuff including collectibles from Jessica Alba's The Eye, Cloverfield, and 27 Dresses." -- Jake B.
If you love movie props and movie memorabilia, then

Sure replicas will always exist, but that's not nearly the same thing as an authentic movie prop or costume. Certainly many movies will be made the traditional way for years to come, however, the best props are usually from fantasy and sci-fi films, which are also the ones most likely to be made on computers in the future. What I think this means is that like limited edition collectibles such as Hot Wheel redlines, current movie props available today will go up more and more in value, because the future availability of new movie props will be limited.

Comments?
If you love movie props and movie memorabilia, then
