What's everyone's experience with buying props in online movie props stores vs. ebay? I tend to think the memorabilia stores are better because there's no competition so you can usually get a good price. True?

yes, you're right. Ebay prices can get astronomically high, but stores have fixed prices.
sometimes you can find things online on ebay that are great prices, other in fixed prices. It's all really what movie props are out there.
Make sure you do buy the movie props from a company that has been around and trusted. If anyone knows where to get movie props from Grease, let me know....

I would make sure that you see the signature on the certificate as original.
