Movie Props, Movie Memorabilia, & Movie Costumes
Hey, movie fans, what are the best companies to deal with for prop purchases?
I've used a bunch, and for buying movie props and movie memorabilia, PremiereProps.com seems the best to me by far.
They are very professional, always deliver fast, and have great selection of movie props, movie costumes, just about any type of movie memorabilia you can think of.

Yes, you are correct on all counts. Movie props and costumes from "Devil Wears Prada" are also available there.

Yes, I've had good experience with them too. They always seem to have the latest movie props from the hottest flicks.

Anyone know anything about Paramount Props on e-bay? Are they authentic??

Just make sure they come with a genuine certificate of authenticity from a respected, reputable props sales company, such as Premiere Props.
Most of the big studios do not sell authentic props directly, just replicas, toys, etc. So if the cert says "Paramount" on it, I'd be wary.

How can I find out if the painting I have was ever used in a John Wayne movie? The story we got around 30 or 40 years ago, was that it was a painting of Jean Lafitte and his lover and was a prop from a John Wayne movie. The artist is unknown as far as I can tell...her name is Edna Liberto.
